The Week of the Young Child™ is an annual celebration hosted by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) celebrating early learning, young children, their teachers, and families. This year’s event is April 16–20, 2018! In honor of this observance, Opportunities is “Highlighting Head Start” throughout the month. Our centers are holding individual events and we invite families and supporters to stop by to see the good work that we do, and perhaps find a way to volunteer. Please visit our sites page for contact information and specifics about the theme for each event.
