Sip & Shop Fundraiser Aims to Raise $50,000 for Meals on Wheels
Georgetown, TX, April 29, 2024 – Opportunities for Williamson & Burnet Counties (OWBC), the local Community Action Agency for the two-county area, is putting on its annual Sip & Shop fundraiser to raise funds for Meals on Wheels for Williamson & Burnet Counties, one of their programs.
Sip & Shop is a fashion-forward fundraiser that includes a luncheon, wine and beer tastings, an interactive fashion show featuring local boutiques, and a pop-up boutique shopping experience. Five local boutiques will participate in the fashion show and dress senior models from Sun City. Pop-up boutiques will be on site to sell women’s fashion apparel and accessories, jewelry, salon services, and more. Businesses interested in signing up as a pop-up boutique can register online here. OWBC is also in search of bakeries to donate a dessert for a live dessert auction and winery and brewery vendors to register to sell by the bottle or by the glass on the patio.
