Over the past few months, our community has shown tremendous generosity through two major fundraising events, the 8th Annual Pull, Shoot & Serve Clay Shoot and the Women Helping Others (WHO) Fundraiser. Together, these efforts raised vital funds to support our programs and the people we serve across Williamson and Burnet Counties.
8th Annual Clay Shoot – $55,000 Raised for OWBC Programs
Our 8th Annual Pull, Shoot, & Serve Clay Shoot brought together supporters, sponsors, and participants for a day of friendly competition and community connection. This year’s event raised an incredible $55,000 to support unrestricted funding for Opportunities for Williamson & Burnet Counties. These funds allow us to strengthen and expand our essential services, from early childhood education to senior nutrition and family support programs, wherever the need is greatest.
We are so grateful to everyone who joined us and helped make this year’s event one of our most successful yet!
Women Helping Others (WHO) Fundraiser – $103,000 Raised for Meals on Wheels
Our annual WHO Fundraiser was another outstanding success, raising $103,000 to benefit Meals on Wheels. This total includes an incredible $50,000 matching gift from the St. David’s Foundation, doubling the impact of community contributions to ensure more seniors receive nutritious meals and friendly visits across our service area.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to the WHO Ladies, the St. David’s Foundation, and every donor who helped make this year’s fundraiser such a meaningful success. Together, we’re ensuring that our seniors are nourished, cared for, and connected.

These accomplishments remind us of what’s possible when our community comes together for a shared purpose. Whether you joined an event, made a donation, or helped spread the word, you made a difference.
Thank you for standing with OWBC and helping us continue our mission to empower children, seniors, and families across our community
