Happy Birthday, Head Start!

On this day in 1965, President Lyndon B. Johnson announced the creation of Head Start. Since then, Head Start programs have been a source of education, health services, and stability in the lives of countless children and families.”

Last year, our Head Start program served approximately 400 children and their families, most of whom are below the poverty line. Through Head Start, we’re able to empower our families to work towards self-sufficiency while preparing our kiddos for school!
