What is Amplify Austin?
Amplify Austin Day is the biggest day of giving in Central Texas, raising $82 million dollars for the local community with the help of half a million gifts. During a single 24-hour period, from 6 pm on March 2nd to 6 pm on March 3rd, residents across a 7-county region will come together to support more than 700 nonprofits by making a donation through the platform, AmplifyATX.org.
When is Amplify Austin Day?
Amplify Austin Day 2022 will take place 6 PM on March 2 – 6 PM on March 3 CST. Early giving opened on January 18, 2022 so you can make your gift now to count towards the day!
Funds Raised Benefit Meals on Wheels
For the Amplify Austin campaign, our non-profit (Opportunities for Williamson & Burnet Counties) raises funds exclusively for our Meals on Wheels program, which serves almost 2,000 seniors in our two-county area annually.
Our program provides a hot, nutritious meal five days a week to seniors in need. In addition to food, our volunteers provide a much-needed wellness check each day to ensure our seniors are doing well. When possible, we also try to offer extras, like hygiene kits, shelf stable meals, bread, food for pets, and more.
