Opportunities for Williamson and Burnet Counties has 15 Early Head Start and Head Start locations across the two counties. We’re excited to be a leader in providing outstanding educational opportunities for children and encouraging self-sufficiency in families.
All children enrolled in our program receive nutrition, dental, health, vision, hearing, emotional wellness, and educational screenings, as well as appropriate follow-up and treatment when necessary. Highly trained teachers use a research-based curriculum daily to create a stimulating educational environment that prepares children for success in future learning.
We provide education to our children as well as to our families by setting goals and providing resources for them. Data shows that a healthy child learns better, so we promote wellness and guidance for our parents to schedule their child routine medical/dental visits. Our goal is to grow the family and give them a foundation to build upon. We provide transition support to the child and families when they are moving into the school.”
