As the area’s official Community Action Agency, we often collaborate with other non-profits, organizations, city and county representatives, chambers, and foundations. By managing and growing these partnerships, we are able to blanket the community with the services they need. Furthermore, with the collaborative support of these partners, we are able to better serve our clients through Meals on Wheels, Community Services, and Head Start.
In order to meet the needs of our clients, especially our Meals on Wheels seniors, we partner with local foundations that support our mission to provide nutrition services in our community. With the help of these foundation partners, we have been able to grow as an agency while providing critical services to community members in need.
Although we receive food donations on occasion, we do not operate as a food pantry and rely on strong partnerships with neighboring nonprofits.
Often, we require the support of our cities and counties. This support is represented in many forms! Annually, cities in Williamson and Burnet Counties generously support us with grants to directly serve clients in that city.
