BancorpSouth has submitted a donation for emergency assistance for residents in need in Burnet County.
Amber Kani, Assistance Vice President & CRA Specialist at BancorpSouth, said,”We are pleased to support the valuable work you do in our communities to address urgent needs by presenting you with a contribution in the amount of $1,500 for emergency assistance and self sufficiency programs for low income residents of Burnet County.”
This funding will be helpful for OWBC’s Self-Sufficiency program clients and others in need of emergency assistance in Burnet County. COVID-19 has impacted many clients’ employment status and this additional funding is very much needed.
Kani continued, “In these challenging times, organizations like yours are key partners as we work together to create economic opportunity and financial mobility across our footprint. We sincerely value your mission and are honored to advance your efforts to reach our community’s most vulnerable.”
